DEAD STEREO-FACTORY CAB

My tractor (1 year) warranty ended 10/21/06 my stereo died today 10/27/06, i called my dealer today, he said he would see what he could do. My tractor has 140 hours, the stereo was $600. I think i may have to call torrence ca. on this issue!

leave it with the dealer and see what he can do. there is nothing more annoying for a dealer than to be in the middle of an argument with a supplier (on the customers behalf and no they never want to pay up) and then have an irrate customer coming in and giving them a hard time. you catch more flys with honey than you do with s***.
make sure they are doing something but. there is avenues for them to chase an out of warranty claim. just remember it is not the dealers fault that the stereo stopped, (unless it was badly fitted). it is the manufacturers. if the dealer is upset with you because you have had an argument with them, they may well say bugger him let him sort it out himself and do nothing. at this stage you will then have to get help.
try to find out what they mean by we will see what we can do. if it means go away and we hope you forget about it. get serious with them, but if they actually have some way of sorting something out, let them do it and just drop in regularly to see where they are up to (these things can take a few weeks etc. dont call every day). unfortunantly these things do happen and it is a sign of a good dealer who will try to get some satisfaction for you. just remember it is unpleasant for every one involved.

My only thought would be you could get an awesome stereo for a few hundred bucks. I do think Kubota will come though for you anyway....

Two things I wonder:

1. I thought overall warranty is 24 months on your tractor. Kubota warranty attached.

2. $600 is a LOT for a radio.
