Date or serial # for seat replacement?

Is there a date or serial # that the BX2350 had the new seat from the factory? I picked mine up in Oct 07 and it has the fender update already done. Does it have the new seat? It looks like the pics of the new seat I have seen. hjt

The Kubota product bulletin for replacement seat is #PIB-2007-027.

I believe the bulletin states this applies to all "BX" and "B" series tractors delivered after May 01, 2007.

Check with your dealer if in doubt.

I got my B3030 the summer of 2006, does that bulletin apply to me? Last year I asked my dealer about Kubota replacing the seat and they said they didn't know anything about it. I'll have to go back one day coming up here and try to get a new one out of them again.

I got my B7800 in March of 2007.

3 weeks ago I had my dealer pick it up for it's 50 hour service and a blade sharpening.

I asked him about replacing my crappy seat via the Kubota product bulletin and he gave me no argument.

He replaced it free of charge and I have to tell you...it's a throne! I love it.

Out of ignorance....... would my tractor qualify for the new seat if i bought it used?

The low cost swap of the Kubota seat program has long expired. I am sure the new style seat can be purchased however.

Yes but our local kubota dealer no help but messicks was!!!!!
