Morning DHR first time in a forum I'm a small area farmer in N.S.W. Australia about 200klm (130miles) west of Sydney.
We are on 570 acres of land 900-1000 metres above sea level -5c in winter and 38c in summer.Average rain fall 750mm (30in)to 850mm (34in).
I have joined this forum as I was looking for a answer to a problem with my tractor.
We have a Daedong (Australian for Kioti) DK501 with 500hrs and a DK551c with 170hrs up.
Both tractors are great with ploughing, fenceing, loading , slashing, towing. DK501 bought new 2007, DK551c second hand with 32 hrs up.
Ok we have a problem with DK551c the right indicate is on full time, front park lights on full time (switch in off position)and 4wd dash indicater on full time and cannot select 4wd. We have removed the dash, fire wall, disconnested the 4wd select button but still no solution .No wires out or broken, has anyone out there had this problem. The tractor still does everthing else but I need it sorted.

Sounds like cross tracking inside the fuse block or instrument cluster due to corrosion. Inspect each assembly for rusty or greenish discharge at the seams of the plastic casings.

oh, and welcome to TBN.

You have a short to ground. Trace from battery ground through to battery positive then through the fuse box to each circuit, until you find the place where the circuit lets go, causes an open and the lights turn off as they should. Once you know where the fault is clean the contacts and or replace the component that is causing the problem. I could be at the 4x4 switch, turn indicator switch or a bad connection/ short at the fuse box, etc.
Good luck. Post back results.

Good to hear you got it fixed. Welcome to TBN. It appears you could use a CAT accessory to go with your Kiotis.
