D in the hospital

My D went in for service on a blown CV boot on the 17th and 2 other issue's
1.Slowing down suddenly going down hill
2. The rear tires spinning and the fronts not turning when digging in a pile of dirt..
The boot was back ordered,,,must be other's are having the same problem,, hopefully coming in today
Luckily my dealer just received another D and was able to compare ..the new D is not slowing down but it is spinning in the dirt..they have a call into engineering???
I had this slowing down issue from the begiining and when we initially contacted N. Dakota they said it was a safety feature? But we did not have a D to compare only the C which did not do it..
Hopefully this gets fixed before the goldenrod goes to seed...

I told my girl friend to send the Bobcat dealer a get well card for my toolcat when it was being hauled off for fixing.

We were sad to see it go, but will be happy when it comes back in working order.

I did a great deal of research prior to last years purchase of my C series. When I read that a new D series is having issues I just wonder! As I have stated before the Toolcat is the best machine I have ever operated, I just wish that it was not plagued with nagging technical issues that results in significant downtime. My C is ready to undergo major surgery on the cooling system.

The mechanic finally got hold of a Bobcat engineer concerning my sudden speed slow down and it turns out they had not reprogrammed the computer for the 29" tires from the original 27",,,,,,,,,,
He was also told to order a complete axle for my torn boot because we have been waiting for 2 weeks for a back ordered CV boot..
The mechanic forgot to ask him about the lack of 4 wheel issue?

It was very nice of Bobcat to take care of you like that. Order a whole axle because they boot was ripped. NICE!!

Just spoke to the Doctor[mechanic] the boot came in before the axle and he said they have gone to a softer material...
Concerning my 4 wheel issue he was able to duplicate the same problem in a gravel pile at the shop ..turns out the relief valve is kicking in with too much load on the pump for the front end,,he checked it and it is set correctly at 3000psi..
Learning curve is flattening out
Will be nice to get it back after 3 weeks to the day in the hospital

Just drove it and I still have the slow down issue going down hills, not as bad as it did in the smaller tire mode,,
In terms of the limited slip it is not available in an independant suspension machine,,wish I had known that before I bought it hoping to use it for woods work..but it has earned it's worth even with these faults
