CX2510 availability?

I've called around to the 3 dealers in a 50 mile radius of me and none have a CX2510 with R14s and a BH. Only one dealer had one CX2510 on the lot with R4s but no BH and no ETA on when they'd get a BH in stock. The other 2 dealers said they hadn't received any stock of Kiotis in months and didn't know when they'd get any more. One of them even said they picked up Bransons b/c they couldn't get Kioti to send them any units. Anyone know what's going with Kioti?

It’s not necessarily “Kioti”. It’s a global supply chain issue. Factories were shut down for months, causing a major supply chain disruption. I work for a dealership that sells one of the largest brands of construction equipment in the US. Lead times on backhoes are currently 5 months! Our lot has been already empty for 2. Our stock of full size excavators is due to arrive in December. These are units that were supposed to arrive in June and July.

Take backhoes as an example, the OEM factory is ready a full production, but all of the vendors for the DEF quality sensor are months behind. The OEM could build a complete backhoe, but it can’t run and won’t ship without a DEF sensor. This is just one component that I know are in short supply (we can’t get them for parts either).

I need a replacement steering cylinder for a customer’s wheel loader. Typically a stock item at the OEM. Currently lead-time, 2 months.

In my experience, it’s a global supply chain issue, not a Kioti issue. Kioti was gaining traction in the NA market, already straining their supply chain. COVID hit and really hurt them

Unobtanium. [till next year as my Kioti dealer stated clearly for CX2510s.] In the compact segment at least, manufacturers are focusing on higher net $ margin machines if they have to choose on how to manufacture with limited components supplies due to Covid, tariffs and whatever other smokescreen lesser dealers may put up. I found CK2610s, but they are clearly pricing them high and avoiding CX2510 cross shopping by pleading supply problems.

They can't go too ridiculously high on pricing and still expect to sell tractors. Check into other brands. Are they ALL doing it? I'm not tractor shopping so I really don't know.

Just curious; what is the pricing on the CX2510H? and the CK2610?

It's quite a cat and mouse game to get details of list pricing for Kioti, especially optional equipment if at all... So all I can offer is deals initially offered (and after a little haggle on the CK2610 below)...
For a loaded up trim level model as a cash sale with FEL, 3rd function and rear remotes, but no backhoe... (only 1 rear remote possible on CK2510 so keep in mind if top and tilt is a goal)

Near $19K plus tax for the CK2510H... And near $20K plus tax for the CK2610H. And about $22K for the CK3510SE. Everyone can say they can do better or quote a pre-pandemic better deal from here of course, but this is Nov-2020 market FWIW.

I stopped by my local dealer last week to look at shredders and it looked like they were getting ready to move. They had two Kioti tractors in stock and three baby Yanmars, no side by sides, mowers were pretty much cleaned out, and not as many used machines as normal. They said that sales were were way up over last year but they are hurting now because of lack of stock to sell. Passing by the Kubota dealer looked like the same story. 2020 strikes again.

I just stopped by a semi-local dealer and got a quote written up even though they didn't have one on the lot. HST, loader, rear remotes, R14s, and the Kioti 3rd function. $18,296. They're hoping to get some in next month.

Just curious; what is the pricing on the CX2510H? and the CK2610?

I just paid $16,750 before tax for a CX2510H w/fel in Eastern Washington

Sounds reasonable for FEL and 3rd function. Did you get the rear remotes as well? R14 tires? I just called one of my local dealers and they got a couple in stock as well. I might go check them out tomorrow or Thursday.
