Well after thinking about it for a while I decided to cut the ROPS down so I could fit it through a 7' door
and not have to fold it down every time. That and because I have a canopy it required me to remove the canopy everytime
before the ROPS could be folded down. Then what really made the decision is me hitting my head on the folded down ROPS. :banghead:

I also had used the canopy and felt with it up SO high there was a lot of sunlight getting in.
If it was lower it would shade the operator better.

So I used a cut-off wheel and removed the welded on end pieces.
Then cut it down and re-welded them on. Then repainted it.

I ALSO decided to improve the fastening system for the canopy, as I didn't want it falling in my lap or on
the tractor damaging it in any way. I feel it is LOCKED on now and will not come off unless I wanted it to come off.

The pictures show how (IMO) the tractor should have come from the factory.
I can now get it through a 7' door WITH the canopy ON.
I feel it provides more shade then it did before I lowered it.

Still looks high to me, although banging my head on it would change my mind really quick !

If you think it still looks high now, you should have seen it before.

All I can say is I'm happy it can fit in my shed AND I get more shade from the canopy.
What's not to like? I even think it looks better with it lower instead of reaching for the sky. :D

I've would have cut it too. I realize it's that high for safety reasons but not to be able to fit that size tractor in a normal 7' door is ridiculous.
The safety police will be here soon to chew your bass out.!!!

I like it. I bang my head on the folded ROPS of the 2025R. The ROPS on the 4010 (like a 2019E if made) did not fold and fit underneath all 5 garage doorways and not so high as to take down trees and limbs out to the side.
