Knocked down 20 acres today ... first cut of the year.

Thanks Bird ... nearly weed free. Got the fertilize and the spray out at the right time and we are going to square bale it ... that new accumulator, grapple and hay wagon will get tested. Hoping the hay dry's real well and we bale Tuesday ... I'll post pictures of the process.

Getting the first cut in up here is going to be tough this year. Soggy, soggy, soggy. Had 2 more inches of rain last nite. Thats well over 8 inches since Thursday and we already had a record wet spring.

Earlier this year I thought the same ... then we got good rainfalls at the right time.

The way it looks right now I'll have a good hay crop ...

One extreme to the other ... to dry in some parts and too wet in others.

With the grandson living here and now 14 and he has really learned this stuff we took on more ground ... so more ground more equipment more seat time, more hay ...
