I decided to replace the linear actuator used as a lift on the used Curtis snow plow I picked up for our Kubota RTV 1140 this summer. I had larger skid shoes added to the Curtis snow plow (From a Kubota BX snow plow) and the linear actuator could barely lift it.

I used existing parts from the Curtis setup including fittings and couplers from the hydraulic angle kit, the wiring harness and relay from original electric lift.
I ordered the following parts, all from Surplus Center:

QTY ITEM# DESC
(4) 9-6314 1/4" NPT QUICK COUPLER
(1) 916-1430 1/4" X 30" X 1/4 NPTM X 1/4 NPTM 3000 PSI HOSE
(1) 916-1424 1/4" X 24" X 1/4 NPTM X 1/4 NPTM 3000 PSI HOSE
(4) 9-5924 1/4" NPT QUICK COUPLER TIP
(4) 9-6806-8-6 SAE 8M X 3/8" NPTM 90 ELBOW
(2) 9-6805-6-4 SAE 6M X 1/4" NPTF 90 ELBOW
(2) 9-6405-8-4 SAE 8M X 1/4" NPTF ADAPTER
(4) 9-5405-4-6 1/4 NPTM TO 3/8 NPTF ADAPTER
(2) 9-5404-4-4 1/4 NPT HEX NIPPLE
(1) 9-7706-4 1.5X4X1 DA HYD CYL PINHOLE
(1) 9-5117-A SAE 8 6 GPM DOUBLE SELECTOR VALVE 12 VDC P155544-2

I also had three pieces made by a machinist (my generous, helpful neighbor):
1 mount for the hydraulic block, 1 adapter (2 pieces) for the hydraulic cylinder to mount to the plow A-frame, and 1 bushing for the hydraulic cylinder.

A video demonstration of the final product may be seen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zMo_ZmdSXKs&feature=youtu.be

I owned Kubota tractors for the past 12 years. Left tractor world to go to skid steer which I've discovered has some down sides. Especially on snow on hillside. Pondered how to solve issue(s) and considered chains and possibly snow tires for SS and plow for SS instead of bucket which always worked on 4wd tractors. Expensive, every thing for SS is more expensive than on tractors but is usually more heavy duty.
We've had a couple of bad snow years here in Ky and I live on a steep hill.
Neighbor told me he had a guy with a 4 wheeler and a front blade/plow clear his drive way. Got my mind to my RTV1140 as my snow machine and researched snow blades/plows yesterday for RTVs and seems the less expensive and maybe even better route for me is RTV for snow issues and keep the SS in the barn for summer, dry ground use.
See your post here and see your using a RTV1140. Advise, issues. concerns to consider? Found some plows/blades on Ebay for $500 (manual blade adjust) to $1000 Hydraulic blade adjust. Other going up from there. Going to check on price of Kubota V4291 but sur eit will be over $2000 for a use of 2 to 3 times a winter for a 400 foot concrete drive way. May venture out to doing brothers 60 foot drive that lives next door if the RTV does well.
Did you research before buying or found a plow and bought while the opportunity presented itself?
Any help or advise from anyone with a Kubota RTV900 to 1100 will be appreciated. Remember, I'm not in Minnisota or Montana but Kentucky, almost down south but not quite.

Have located a Curtis Sno Pro 3000 plow locally with "Curtis Quick connect?". Seller keeping inside wiring for his coming replacement larger plow. He's been using on a Dodge PU. How much trouble is it going to be to connect this to my RTV1140 mechanics/attachment/adapter plate wise? I know I'll have to buy inside controller and inside wiring harness.
