Wanting to know if anyone has purchased this Curtis cab and what their opinion is and any recommendations they can provide concerning installation ( JD dealer wants $500), additional lights and heater???

I am looking at hard side Model #1JD1023AS. A dealer has one in stock in a box. Just trying to decide if I want to tackle installation my self and with what options I need.

Cab installation should not be too difficult in that it only involves taking things off and putting them back on. From my experience with these kind of things, I think there are only a couple of things to keep in mind. First, it will probably take at least twice as long as you expect. Second, these things are heavy - make sure you have at least one strong friend available and wait for him when you have to position a large part.
