When you say Kal engine I'm not sure which you mean.
I have a tank SZ 60 with the 27 HP Kawasaki engine. Purchased in layout 1 yr ago.
62 hrs on the clock and no problems. Engine runs very well. We mow 15 or so acres.
When looking at competing models from JD and Kabota I liked the build of the Cub better.
Also, liked the steering wheel type drive. My property is hilly and with the stick drive you need to continuously compensate when going across the hill.
No so with the steering wheel. The front wheels are not casters like other ZT's. They are power assist steerers. When side hilling if you let go of the wheel it still tracks straight. Try that with a stick drive.
If your property is bumpy, hilly etc a 60 inch deck may not mow as well as a narrower one.
