cub cadet hds 2135 ligths and turning off problem

My cub cadet starts just fine but will not shut off or turn lights on. Any idea on where to start solving this issue. i have this schematic and I think the problem would be in the ignition switch.

I would get a test light or meter and check for voltage on the wires from the switch in each position. Pretty simple design, I would agree that the switch is probably bad.
