Cub Cadet 7305 Fuel Injection Pump Issue? All help appreciated.

I was using my cub cadet 7305 when it suddenly revved off the chart and didn't shut down with the key or throttle back. I shut off the fuel to stop it. I started it again and same thing. Third time it refused to start. Looking through the forum I tried the following.
1. Removed fuel injection pump and found that the slide did not move freely.
2. Cleaned what I could and freed the slide so it moved easily.
3. Replaced the fuel pump and filter (It did not run out of fuel)
Still does not start.
4. Replaced Battery
5. Bled all lines
6. Set stop solenoid as instructed in service manual
7. Fuel being pumped into the crankcase once all together.
Besides taking it to a professional is there anything I could check??

I have a 7274 and had to get the pump rebuilt as there were tiny springs and plungers that broke caused by the slide rail

Thanks for the info. When your pump was rebuilt did you have to time it when you reinstalled

I had someone do it in a diesel shop $1300 it has over 1400 hrs on it now

I had one rebuild for the same reason and when it came back from the inject shop I just stuck it in so I imagine they put it back the way they got it so it would be timed ? It had 3,000 hrs. on it when it packed it in.

1200-1300 for new. Is a big savings to rebuild?

It's been a few years now but it was less than $600.00 .

I think timing of inj pump similar to what Cub Cadet utilizes is accomplished by adding/removing shims. New IP from Messicks is PN MA30H65-05200 $960.99. Also on this type injection pump a separate governor also aids in controlling engine rpm's.
