cub cadet 169

i have recently came about a cub cadet 169 which is in fairly good shape. wouldnt take much to make show quality. i know or think they were only made in 1974. i would like advise on what they are worth. i am considering selling it. i have too many projects now and think i would be willing to part with it. i wish i could keep it but too many things to do.

I know a guy that has one quite similar. Not sure of the model. But he let me put about 10 hours on it moving rock when we built my stone walls. I also got to use the backhoe. Nice machine and not cheap when you add a frame mounted hoe.

If it is near showroom condition it could go for easily over a grand. I think alot has to do with the fact if the person wanting to purchase a garden tractor realizes age doesn't matter when you're looking at such a well built machine like the 169. Wish I had the money I would take it off your hands.

I have a list, a PDF file actually, that gives trade in values for Cubs through about 1990, I think. I'll look up the pricing and post later.

But it's really worth whatever someone is willing to pay. I would guess if it's running half way decent, $500 would buy it
in NE Ohio.

i appreciate that. i dont know whether i will try to restore it or sell it. i have big problems with my back and dont know if i am up to it or not. i have to put a carb on it. was missing when i got it.
