This is my first post in the forum. I have been having considerable trouble finding information on my cub cadet 1220 Hydro. We purchased it used 2 years ago.
I am currently having a problem with the drive system. The lawn tractor will go in reverse fine, but has significant difficulty going forward , especially up a hill. I have been told this is an issue with the hydro drive.
If it is a hydro drive pump issue, can it be rebuilt? I have plenty of tools/space available to me to work on it, and I am very used to working on cars, so I assume this can't be a whole lot more difficult.
Any other suggestions? Help is appreciated. ~~Heath
