Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but if the PTO is engaged won't that keep the tractor from starting? Winston 1 did say he was mowing the day before. JP

Yes, there are safety switches on both the front and rear pto levers. They were not at fault. I am leaning toward my foot pedel having been slightly out of position and causing the no start, however, I am unable to make it go into a position and stay without holding it where it will not crank. Not good with words, hope this makes a little sense.

I think you will quickly come to learn if it wont crank to tap the go peddle one way or another. It is part of the badge of ownership. just like it sticking when you first use it and quickly learning to use your heal to stop, before shifting to the brake.

Even at 300 hours and keeping it clean, mine still has it issues in this area if temps are cool in the mornings (60 or below) and it were below freezing, I automatically shift into toe/heal mode to control. Also I do have the updated peddle assembly and switch.

MY neighbor has a Kubota and has the same issues from time to time, but his wont run below 20 degrees.:D
