Just picked up my used CT230 (2008 model with 100 hours) and have some questions about the suspension seat.

How much travel do you guys get with your seat height adjustment? I'm 5'-10" and I have to stretch to reach the brake pedals. It feels like the seat is too high but I can get it to go lower. Could someone let me know how many full turns you get on the adjustement?

I also can't get much suspension travel on the seat. I'm 150 lbs and the seat doesn't have any springy-ness to it. It feels like it's locked in the max tensions setting even though I have it set on the "little guy" vs the "big guy". I can turn the adjustment wheel and am able to get the indicator to move all the way to the big guy or the little guy.

Thanks!

John

It might need a little lubrication, may have sat in one postion long enough to get a little bound up. Some BP blaster, WD40, or similar stuff sprayed on all the pivots under there should loosen it up. Have you tried sliding the seat for and aft as well.

Sliding fore/aft seems to work fine.

I'll take the seat apart next week to check everything. If it's set to the little man (light weight) it should be pretty springy, right?

I'm 5 - 8" and my CT230 is fine with height, suspension and pedal length.

I don't have the deluxe supsenison seat but have sat in them many time. I'm 5'-10" @ 140# and why turning the weight I can feel it go down and start springing.
