Ct 230 won't stay running

It seems like something is heating up and kicking the solenoid out. It runs, kicks out, then I reset the key and it'll do it again. Runs for about average 30 seconds and kicks out. I suppose the new solenoid could be bad, but doesn't seem likely.

What was wrong with the old solenoid? Was it doing the same thing? What happens when you installed the old one? Yes, new electrical (especially cheap ones) can be faulty.

It was just sitting idling and died, after I'd been using it for hours, and wouldn't restart. It would turn over but not start. Bench tested old solenoid and it was weak. Old one was 2 wire, new one is 3 wire with conversion kit. Basically, only difference is the ground wire. I got the new one through bobcat dealer and it came in a bobcat box.

I have a 2012 CT120. Same problem pretty much. It’s probly your computer/control module. I ended up rigging a starter button and a push/pull cable to control the fuel shutoff. Not paying $1000 to fix it.

Good innovation. Bobcat elected to add this safety interlock controller which Kioti did not. Seems like an additional complication for no added benefit.

My own CK30 came with only a foot clutch safety switch, and I think, a PTO safety.

I also bought a new CK20 for a friend back in '06, and it did not have this controller either.
