My tractor threw a CEL today (155hrs)., and rpms started to fluctuate. Does this thing have an OBDII port? Nearest dealer is a couple hours away, I'd like to try and do some troubleshooting myself first.
Hmmm. I found two contradictory posts while trying to find the one I remembered.
"Obd port is on the right side of the engine toward the rear of machine. You can use any obd2 compliant device to look at codes and data."
"Yes it's a standard obd2 connector for the ECM on top of the radiator, the dealer uses the FT4 program on the laptop to read the codes"
So i dont know if that helps. But I did find what I was looking for. Its for a Kioti, but I can't imagine a CT 2035 and CK3510 have any real electronic differences. This post talks about using the CEL light to 'blink' the code. Kind of like how the OBD1 Fords used to be.
No, I mean maybe the glow plugs are stuck on. They are suppose to turn of after starting, or shortly thereafter, depending on temperature. Seeing as you have a computer, I can fully believe the engine has a 'after glow' feature where the glow plugs stay on, but at a little lower temp, after...

Hopefully you get some better help then that. Good luck!
I haven't looked into this yet:
- CEL has stayed off since, and becase it has been too cold to mess in the shop.
- I thought maybe I had interrupted the regen. But the glow plugs is interesting as it was -20C that day.
- I didn't notice any blinking on the CEL.
- I do have one of those bluetooth ODBII readers, but it makes sense it is only 1. 1 readers are way more expensive because they are analog.
I don't think so. OBD II is for automobiles. Tractors are different- each manufacturer has proprietary codes. In many cases, only the dealership can plug and read the codes.
