Well, the dealer came by today and took my 33d away. Good by old friend. All the good time away from the house moving dirt and rocks, down in the woods hacking and slashing trees and brush. The roar of the diesel and mower as the grass grew long. Now someone else will have to enjoy it's song.

But a new one is on the way, just as soon as my loader arrives, new memories to be made.

Pic at the dealers...

The new Boomer will be worth it. Reminds me of something Kenny Rogers said.

"Don't be afraid to give up the good for the great."

I think I would have told the dealer.. I'm not giving up my old one.. until you bring me my new one.. that way you'd be laughing & crying at the same time! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I agree with kensfarm was there a reason they took yours away before they made delivery of the replacement? I sold my last tractor outright. I didn't list it until after I signed papers for the TC-40D thinking the NH would get to me first. Well my original tractor sold the first day that I listed it at the TBN site. The guy sent a flat bed to retrieve it the next day, so for a couple of weeks I also went through the tractor withdrawal syndrome, it's no fun. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

They had a maybe buyer for it, someone looking for a good used machine. My new one is at the dealer waiting for a loader.

Starting to get withdrawal shakes and sweats....

Dude,
I feel your pain.

Tonight, I sold all my old Allis Chalmers iron in one fell swoop!
A guy came by and wanted the D14 tractor, plow, cultivator, rear blade and mower! He bought the works!

Good bye to old Allis...she was a great old girl...but beyond her time. Hello Compact Utility Tractor!

Now, I can really focus 'cause I got cash in hand for a handsome down payment.

Will it be a new NH TC33DA or a Kubota?

Im still undecided.

Any advise for the love lorn?

Well, the shakes are getting worse, I hope they get the loader in soon so they can complete the tractor. Now I have to say, anything other than a Boomer just isn't worth looking at /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif. They are just soooooo nice. Of course, that is just the different between liking all tractors and loving the Boomers. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

On my way home from the garden center at Walmart today, I stopped by the NH dealer and he had a nice used TC33D with supersteer on his lot. If your new DA is as nice as that D, you're gonna have one terrific tractor, MikeBurr!

Tell us when it arrives....
