cruise control bx

I don't know where to post this, but here goes.
At the farm show, I was looking at the Bx 23 cruise control, and was thinking this would work on my BX 2200.
Anyone know the parts I would need to make this work?

I find this quite interesting, because I was told that the BX23 didn't come with cruise control, only the BX1830 & BX2230 tractors had it..... are you certain that it was on a BX23?? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Might have been the 2230, you know "the kid in the candy store thing", wasn't paying too much attention to the numbers. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

You are correct, the cruise is not on the BX23 due to the fact they use the slot for the seatbelt.

I looked the the control to see if it could be added to the earlier models and couldn't tell where the connections went under the HST pedal (due to two feet of snow on the ground /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif) It seems like it could be done but I have no idea what the parts would cost. It is too bad Kubota doesn't decide to market a kit for the earlier models.

Attached is page 149 of the Bx2230 parts book, showing the parts numbers for the cruise control. (page 148 is the diagram, but the picture is too big to attach)

The seatbelt mount on my BX22 looks like it would be easy to move out of the slot, but once moved, I'll bet it wouldn't be as useful with the seat reversed for BH work. Probably why it's where it is... I have no need for the cruise, but hope this helps those who might want to tackle this project. Let us know what the parts price out to. (you can price the retail prices at tractorsmart.com as well.)

Kubota will be coming out with a kit for the BX1800 and 2200 to add the cruise. It should be about $90.00 plus a couple hours instalation. Don't know when it will be available, but probably less$ than ordering by part #. Currently no plans for BX22 and 23 cuz of seatbelt issue. Christa

FYI the BX22's seat belt is in the slot for the cruise control.
