Crock pot glove warmer

It's been much colder than normal here this year, I was complaining about how cold my hands were working in the unheated barn. My wife brought out one of her old crock pots and put 3 pairs of gloves in it. Works great, when my hands start getting cold I take off my gloves and throw them in the pot and take a warm pair.

She throws deeper than that, usually she packs my bags, calls my buddy, and tells him it's time to take me away hiking for a few weeks.

Arn't they wet? If they are, the moisture has to go somewhere.

I bought one of those boot warmers on sale that also has a provision for gloves. Biggest problem is I keep forgetting to use it.

When I'm in the barn I stay dry, just get cold. Lastest project is metal, so everything I touch is made out of steel and my hands get frozen. You're right, wouldn't work for wet gloves. I also have one of those boot/glove warmer things that blows air through them. Works great but it's in the house and I never make the trip inside until the end of the day.

That's a great idea. I could have used that when processing some firewood after we got snow a few weeks back. I couldn't go more than an hour without my gloves getting to cold/wet to use, and finally had to quit when I ran out of dry gloves.
