creeper gear useful????

I'm gettting ready to by a DK35 with loader, Backhoe and tiller. Does anyone have the creeper gear in there DK35,40, 45... Is it useful? I wll be using the loader, tiller and scraper alot.

Creeper gear sure would have been nice for tilling on my DK 35.My lowest gear is faster for tilling than I would like.
My 35 is a couple years old now and I noticed in the flyers the low gear speeds have changed.
My DK 35, 1'st gear speed- 1.0 MPH
The DK 35 in the new version Kioti flyer shows 1'st gear speed .55 MPH.
It apears they may have changed the gearing on the newer models, which would make tilling much better.
On my tractor I could use the creeper gear option.

My DK45 has the 12 over 12 tranny. The first gear listing is .23MPH without creeper. It is VERY slow. They say the creeper gear is nice for hooking up implements but I am not sure that going slower than .23 would add much benefit. I am anxious to hear from people who do have it to see what they have to say.

My DK 55 has the 12/12 . Creeper is ssslowww , and very useful. When getting on and off the trailer and hooking up implements and getting in and out of my shed the only has 2" of clearance on either side for this tractor . Get all of the options you can afford now , later is too late . You do not realize how nice things are until you don't have them .

I have a DK 45 with the 12/12, and the lowest speed on it is amazingly slow. I don't till with my tractor, but if I did, I'm sure the creeper feature would be very handy.

I do use the low gears for when we are picking up hay or tobacco and loading on a trailer (pulled by the Kioti) and we don't have a driver; we will put the tractor in a low gear (usually like Low 2 or 3) and just let it put along while we load. Occasionally we have to reach up and steer the tractor, but it's better than having to get on the tractor, put it in gear, mover 50 feet, take it out of gear, get off the tractor, load stuff, repeat, repeat, repeat....

I guess you've bypassed the seat safety switch to do this...?

Diffent tractor, but perhaps same question. JD4300 Sync-Reverser. 12 speeds forward and 12 reverse.. 4 speed trans with three ranges.

I don't believe I have *ever* found a need for a gear low enough to justify putting it in low range. In first gear, middle range, you can crawl beside the thing. I run out of traction long before I run out of power, and have yet to find any situation which requires a lower gear than 1st in middle range. Probably just lack of experience...

I wish the high and middle ranges were at the extremes, and the low (least used) range in the middle... because it's a bear to get the middle range engaged. I actually have to let out the clutch a bit, then let the gears grind a teeny bit, in order to get the middle (most used) range to engage. High range I only use on the road, and middle for everything else.

Thanks for all the info. Called NC 1877GOKIOTI and they wont be getting in DK35's with creeper gears for about a month. I guess I'll be waiting. Think its worth it from what most of you say. Question. Why is Green paint $5000.00 more? I dont understand..
