Crappy Kubota BX2230 seat cover

For as long as I've owned this tractor the seat cover has been pulling loose at the top. It simply pulls out from under the welting that holds it wrapped around the edge of the steel frame. In the cold the entire cover just comes loose and is a real bear to stretch and reattach, and it is only temporary. Anyone run across this and have any suggestions? Don't feel like dropping a couple hundred bucks into a different style seat.

Sorry to hear... these kind of failures seem to impossible to fix so it doesn't keep happening. :bang head: If you do end up having to get a new seat, check out the BX25D seat. Much more comfortable than the old BX's in my opinion. Good luck.

Thanks dragoneggs. I had to pick up a chain for my Stihl at the Kabota dealer so I asked about a replacement seat. He had one upstairs and went to get it to see if it was any different. It was an exact replacement but ended up having a flaw in the vinyl. He took $120 off the price and sold it to me for $30. Couldn't pass it up so we'll see how long it lasts.
