I am wondering the cost and possibility of setting up remote hydraulics on 2004 New Holland TC29D
I was looking at setting up a firewood processor which would require power for the hydraulic chainsaw, splitter, hydraulic hold downs, and hydraulics for the lift bed for the logs. I think that is it. I was considering the purchase of a pto pump and hydraulic reservoir or running auxiliary hydraulics off the tractor to run the system. Currently the project is a clean slate and I am just in the developmental stages of it. Just gathering knowledge, devising a plan and gathering materials. I am very grateful for the help that you are providing me.

You might be better off using a separate engine for the hyd using multiple pumps for the different hyd activities.
Hyd chainsaw
Log splitter
Log lift
Log roller
Conveyer
Manual valves
Solenoid valves
Hyd tank
Filters
A 30 HP small engine can turn a .9 cu in pump at 3600 rpm and produce 14.5 GPM's at 3000 psi.
You can break that down to two or three pumps for different hyd functions.
It is not logical to use a tractor for the firewood processor unless you just want to..
Your tractor = 7.1 GPM implement flow
Hydraulics:
Type: open center
Pressure: 2133 psi [147.1 bar]
TC29 Pump flow: 6.1 gpm [23.1 lpm]
TC29D Pump flow: 7.1 gpm [26.9 lpm]
TC29 Total flow: 9.6 gpm [36.3 lpm]
TC29D Total flow: 12.2 gpm [46.2 lpm]
TC29 Steering flow: 3.5 gpm [13.2 lpm]
TC29D Steering flow: 5.1 gpm [19.3 lpm]
