Cost difference between agsR1 and industrials R4

Need help again fellas, I figured it would be between 200 to 400 dollars.

I have heard no difference to 2-4 hundred. I will have more information in the next 10 days.

When I ordered Ags for a DX29 that was sitting on the lot with R4s on it, the tractor got cheaper by $200. Remember, once you commit to a specific tire, you also get rims that fit that type. If you want to change later, you will need to get new rims, too.

Any desire to have R4s after choosing R1s? Why did you choose R1s?

I don't have the tractor yet -- still waiting for the grapple coming by mule from Missouri -- but I wrestled with the question quite a bit. I do most of my tractoring in the woods, with some barn cleaning and barnyard cleaning mixed in. My Kubota slithered around on the manure on the sidehill with Ags, so I figured I needed whatever traction advantage was available. The dealership is a family run place. The one sales guy figured R1, but his brother thought R4 would be better. If not for the barnyard work, I probably would have stuck (no pun intended) with the R4s because they are supposed to be a little more rugged and puncture resistant. I haven't holed a tire on Kubota, and hope I don't on the Case.

I had 1 place try to tack on 700.00 for r4's. Guess where I got my tractor.
