Correct transmission oil

Hi all,
The title says it all, what is the correct oil for the transmission / gearbox on TO35 FE35 or 135 with NO MULTI POWER
There seems to be some considerable differance of oppinions.
The manual says SAE 80 below 30 deg and 90 above 30 deg.

Hoping some one can help

Because of the difficulty in obtaining straight mineral oil per the 60 year old spec, some folks use UTF (Universal Tractor Fluid), some use motor oil, some use gear oil. Personally I'd use UTF unless nothing else was available.

G'day we don't fill them with gear oil (80/90) anymore, the current trans/hyd oils are fine in those old girls and make it easier on the hyd pump as well
