I'd like a little feedback here please. I have a new-to-me L35 and it idles at about 1050 rpm. My dad has an L35 and it idles at about 800. I have the service manual, but can't find what the idle spec is. I do a lot of idling, using the backhoe and thumb to cut firewood, etc., and would prefer a lower idle speed. Any problem with slowing it down? How low can I go? Ad lastly, how do I adjust it?

Thanks for any help you can offer,

Joe

Good question, Mine will idle down to 780 but I keep it up to 800 using the throttle hand lever. IMO 800 sounds about normal idle speed. If 1050 is the lowest you can go, I'd say it's out of adjustment. Might be the hand throttle lever that needs adjusting.
