Yep, I did the same as Harleyscooter (not as purty as his), but yeah.
Depends on how handy you are in the workshop I guess. You can remove the draw bar from your aerator and dethatcher and adapt a 3pt hitch to carry the implements. My Aerator was a standard Northern Tool 48" unit. Took about 1.5 hours to modify to suit the 3pt lift.
Boy does it make it a lot more managable to use the aerator on the 3pt... I wish I did it a long time ago...
Ditto on the straight lines recommendation above. You have to lift the aerator to turn. You can make gradual turns but only slight before you start to hear groaning from the implement. Wouldnt recommend trying to turn too often when it is engaged...
