Converting Gas Flail Mower to 540 PTO

Hey guys, I have a older Befco Flail mower with a 8hp Briggs. I cut it down and shortened it to 40 wise so it would fit inbetween my Christmas Tree Rows.
I would like to remove the engine and run it off the PTO on my Yanmar YM169.
Whats needed to covert this, I was thinking a right angle gear box? Let me know your thoughts. Thanks guys

Some pics of tractor and mower would help a lot! In general you're going to need to get your 540 PTO up to the gas engine speed if driving the crank shaft pulley, 3000 rpm or so. Or you can work backward from flail tip speed, 100-110 mph from a quick Google search. Measure the flail diameter and we can help you figure it out.
