something we did and have to share, we used some 1/8" x1" flat bar. We caught a piece in the vise between a socket that fit into the lugs with some slop and the jaws and bent the bar around and cut a half moon piece off, set it in the lug, and set a socket on it and tapped the flat bar into match the lug, , then make a second that fits into the first. we just used a socket in a clamp to hold en down and tacked them in place.
I read where a certain pipe was the right thickness, I just had some flat bar available. , But you could get a length and cut them easy as well.
