Mowing Continental Belton KTR-54 mower on a YM1510

Trying to figure out how to make a place to hook the two chains on the front of the mower unbderneath this tractor. The two brackets that I got with this mower for this purpose aren't going to do me much good, I'm afraid. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif (no good place to bolt them on, what with the way they're designed).

Any reason why I couldn't bolt a piece of angle iron to the bottom two bolts holding the engine and transmission togehter, and then hang the chains from that?

How did the chains on the YQMs attach to the tractor? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Any and all help greatly appreciated.
