I am considering purchasing a TC33D and got a quote of 22,700 for TC33D, loaded R4s, block heater, 308 loader with 68'' hd bucket, 757c backhoe with 16'' bucket. Seems like a good deal but I am think they plan on making a little on my trade (2000 Ingersoll loader/backhoe which by the way is for sale if anyone is interested, asking $9500 or best offer) .....anyway Is there anything I should be aware of with the TC33D? ....I was going to have a remote valve added, they said it would be $250.....I wasn't too crazy about getting the tires filled....I saw wheel weights list for $42 each and it can take up to 2 on each rear wheel...What are the draw backs? Are the wheel weights much less weight than filled tires? Also the 757 hoe seemed a little small...I am going to ask about the 758 backhoe....anyone have any thoughts on which backhoe? Thanks for the help!

New Holland does not approve the 758 on the tc33 and will void the warranty if it is put on the tractor. You can put it on but you will be on your own if you do as far as warranty goes unless you have a real good dealer.

I was recently quoted $18,235 for a TC33D, loaded R4s, block heater, 7308 loader with 60'' hd bucket. I managed to talk them down to $17,500. Can't help you with the backhoe pricing.

If you are looking at filled tires, ask them about RIM GUARD instead of the calcium chloride fill. Chloride is corrosive. It also makes a real mess if it leaks (kills grass or whater it leaks on). Rim Guard is safe (it's actually got an animal-food grade certification) and it weighs more per gallon than Calcium Chloride solition.

Take a look at Woods Backhoes. I have a 9000 on a TC45D and love it. Appears to be heavier than the NH models. You can order them painted to match the tractor.

I second Duckhunter's recomendation of Woods backhoes. I've been researching backhoes for my TC33D. Woods looks good. The only disadvantage I see is that with the NH backhoes, you don't have to remove any of the 3 pt hitch arms, but with Woods you do (at least on the TC 25/29/33 models). This adds a bit to the change over time.

But do they void the warranty?

There are old pilots, and there are bold pilots, but there are very, very few old bold pilots. And they get scarcer every day.

My NH tractor brochure, as well as the brochure for their backhoes shows the 758C as being available for the TC25 thru TC45 models. (Though I would agree the 758c is probably a bit much for the smaller models.)

The only backhoes that new holland approves for there tractors is New Holland branded if you have a problem on your tractor because of another manufacturers backhoe be prepared to pay. Your dealers do you no favors by selling you a backhoe that is not NH branded. and the reason they sell you a woods backhoe is because if they buy enough product from woods the dealer gets a 48% discount from list and makes tons of money of you. I know I have seen many upset people who bought other than New Holland approved attachment over the years that have caused problems on there tractors. New Holland walks away from these situations very quickly. New Holland Implements are tested by there engineers and approved by there engineers so they have no excuses if problems occur from there approved implements. Just keep that in mind when trying to save money or get a better deal. IS IT REALLY WORTH THE HASSLE.
