Conservation Publications

The State of Missouri offers two different publications free of charge to Missouri residents. I believe there is a nominal charge for out of state residents and for non-residents. Also, the magazines are available online.

morning dog.. Maine offers access to online conservation publications as well.

The USDA also offers conservation programs and provides professional advisory services out of the local county office. The USDA focus seems to be with restoring habitat for native plants and animals. Parcels that abut rivers and streams are of particular interest to the USDA it seems.

I don't spend enough time on this now but if our place in Maine becomes our retirement destination I plan to.

Since I live close to the Kansas side of Missouri, I also thought I would share that Kansas has a bi-monthly magazine. I believe the cost is $10 per year.

is the link to pa department of natural resources. Each state has its own department and full of information.

If you are a property owner in N.C. this publication is free and comes monthly-Agriculture Review. There are ads in regards to agriculture equipment;etc. also in the publication. 2012 Ag Development Forum
