It won't pump your standard concrete mixes very well. It's more of a small- rock/pea gravel pump. You're best looking at 1/2" or 3/8" with a low amount of crushed stone (read virtuallly all round)
Unless you are a contractor that can use small amounts pumped every week, you're best to hire a pump. This is coming from a formwer concrete pumper, it's tough work, pushing wet sand through a hose.
