When I changed to trans oil in my M6800 hydraulic shuttle transmission, I figured no big deal to use Deere Hy-Guard. After all, I already had it. Anyway, the difference in performance of the hyd shuttle was noticeable. The shuttle doesn't have the same fast engagement of the SUDT2 but is slightly delayed. Also, it feels like it takes longer for the oil to warm up and the transmission is sluggish with the Hy-Guard until it warms up. The SUDT2 was a faster engagement and crisper response with cold oil.
I think the Hy-Guard is wonderful stuff but that the SUD2, being all or partially synthetic has a leg up for a hydraulic shuttle. it kind of like apples and oranges comparison but I don't think Deere has a syn or semi-syn trans fluid. Anyway, that's what I found.
The M6800 is really the same as an M7040 so I would expect similar results. I have one and will use SUDT2 on the 50 hour change this coming summer. SUDT2 must be great stuff. Just an FYI.
