Sorry if this question has been posted before, if so, help point me in the right direction and i'll research it more.

I've been doing a ton of research, visited a couple dealers around town(Kioti/Mahindra).

I have a basic question, that I need some help on.

I'm looking for a 25hp tractor with loader and cab. The issue I'm having is I have yet to find a tractor that will allow a factory cab AND backhoe at the same time.
Mahindra I'd have to go at a minimum to a 35hp tractor. Like 1635 or 2538.

Are there other brands, Kubota, NH, John Deere that allow for a smaller tractor with cab, but doesn't utilize the seat of the tractor itself for backhoe operations? Or do I need to start looking at 35hp+ tractors?

In all my research 25hp is plenty enough tractor for what I need and want. 35hp+ would be nice, but I would prefer to keep size and weight down because it will make it much handier on my property. I want to be able to have cab for winter snowblowing, spring and fall usage(which is pretty chilly in my area), plus have the opportunity to not be prevented from working in the rain.

I have looked at the 26XL or 1626(have yet to look at other brands before actually buying), and thought maybe I could go with a sort side cab just for snowblowing and remove it for summer use(when I'd be using the backhoe the majority of the time).

Any info would be great. Thanks in advance.

Some cabs might allow for removal of glass. With that said the backhoe is a pricey option like 7k. Is it something you get the use out of. Really isnt worth buying for just one project or to use sporadically

Yeah I've had to rent equipment in the past on several occasions that would've been handled perfectly with a small backhoe. Drainage issues, installing a new basketball hoop, pulling out shrubs, fence posts, maintaining a MX track, and the list goes on and on. I did just learn that Kioti offers the CK2610 that can have a cab and factory backhoe. I may just have to go to each individual brand to find the answer. Dusty thank you. Looks like 2650 is an option from Kubota also.

Well in that case it might be even better than to rent backhoe attachments. I know EX's are about a thousand a week, thats an aweful lot of use to make up that 7k up front expense.

Google all the different brands and see what is available.

When I was shopping, the JD dealer made a big thing about bragging that the 1025R had a separate seat for the BH. They show a 'drop on cab' with heat only.

The other point though is that the cabs don't cover the BH seat. If you're in weather that would require a cab, do you want the BH on? They come off in just a few minutes in most cases.

Cab tractors for many with backhoes are outside the cab! The pits for trenching!!!

If you want a backhoe get it. Just the convenience of jumping on it and digging something up, landscape on a whim, pull down a small tree, so much you can do with it. People try and put a price on convenience, but my convenience is worth a lot more than what someone else puts on it. Besides, they are fun :)

I have never regretted my backhoe on my BX25D. It’s s useful for much more than digging. I’m thinking about upgrading and would strongly consider the B2650. I think the B3350 has emission garbage and has known problems. Kubota also has a factory cab option on the new BX23s. The rear window is removed to operate the backhoe from inside the tractor (seat swivels, no second seat on the BH).
