May be a dumb question, but in the 30 and 40 series compact tractors with cabs, do they only come with e-hydro or can you get a manual? Just curious since it is not listed under the specs on John Deere's site.

As far as I know you can only get them with E-Hydro, the PowrReverser is only available on the open station tractors.

Only E-hydro in the cab tractors. I wanted a cab but so far they will not build a Power Reverser cab tractor-dealer says not enough demand for such a machine... I would buy one.

John, I used to think the same...I was kinda bummed I couldnt get the Power Reverser on the cabbed machine...ultimately, Comfort & Climate control trumped the transmission...and I'd honestly look you in the eye and tell you that I'd never go back to a Standard tranny on a CUT...this was my first Hydro, and I'm SUPER happy.

I have a 5525 Cab with PR and a 4520 ehydro. I do all I can with the 4520 because it is so nice.
