Nope smaller 12V not intended to be a lug nut wrench though I have been able to do a few trailers easy enough.
I find it disappointing to read a negative review when someone failed to remove a frozen truck lug using one. Its not what they are really made for
Overall I think the Milwaukee 12v impacts are great tools. I take a 2462 and the 2463 to my farm job everyday. And they are ideal for other mechanical assembly jobs besides automotive too, such as building tunnel greenhouses, hanging exhaust stacks and fans, pipe clamps etc. They fit right in my tool pouch and don't weigh you down when your up on a ladder like a 18v would with that big belt clip hanger. I especially like the slim inline battery design over the 18v models. I have all 1.5 and 2.0 batteries (I have not had a need for 4x battery pack yet)
I have the 2 speed Fuel versions for my garage use at home.
The 2457 3/8 ratchet is a good tool too and now there is a right angle impact driver (2467)
They are all pretty powerful IMO. The fuels have a low speed low torque setting and with the quarter inch anvil drive wrenches there is even less chance of inadvertently stripping out smaller nuts and bolts,
Be even nicer if there were a few more electronic controlled torque settings like the larger ones have.
The clutched 1/4 hex drivers are really best for smaller screws or light material assembly like dash and trim work.
