Even as a hardcore GM guy, I have to agree with you on that. :drink:

Always a fan here due to the tilt hood but per the article I read yesterday, GM is way short on the weight ratings vs the Ford offering. I would have to dig a bit to find that article but the rating difference was substantial.

It will be interesting to see what the tow ratings are. In the dodges for example the 4500,5500 have more payload capacity than the 3500 but the 3500 is rated to tow more. I have a f450 now but would love to have a truck smaller than a semi that could tow 35k safely.

A one or two ton truck is not capable of safely towing 35,000 lbs. No way, too little chassis weight nor stamina.
