When I first looked at the pictures, I thought that the pickup was the header... The driver was lucky to survive.

If I was a betting man, I'd say that my money is on the combine having more $$$ damage than the truck, even though the truck is obviously totalled. The street sign kinda took a beating too.

It's sure good to hear that the young driver of the pickup does not have life-threatening injuries. I hope his legs have no severe injury either. If not, his hockey career may be over.

Just came across this one yesterday. Check out the third story down. JohnDeere vs Train Supposedly, the engine was still running when the rescue squad arrived.

Apparently the combine was totaled due to a twisted frame.

The truck driver is lucky ther was not a head on the combine. A corn head would have went right through the windows.

Just wait until you get that dairy up and running and you are working 20 hours a day in the fall and you might get an idea how stuff like this happens.

That is a really good point Duffster. They say a tired person driving is akin to an impaired person. Add texting, a stereo, etc. Lucky the kid is alive.
