Color of gray/silver on wheels?

Can anyone point me to the right color of paint to refinish the rear wheels on my 1225? I stopped by TSC and looked at the Valspar and Van Sickle tractor paint and the MF gray color they have is the dark "dirty" gray that they used to paint the old Fergusons.

Try a Massey dealer. They have oem paint in every color used. I'm not sure on your particular model, but MF colors include "Flint Grey Metallic". (Chassis color on older Massey Fergusons. NOT Ferguson grey) There's "Silver Mist" which is used on rims and grill trim, then "Rouge Red". Newer models may use a very dark grey metallic on castings. Not sure of the color's name.

It is still a different gray from these. I haven't been able to find any except the MF dealer. It’s just like the chassis black is called Mirror Black on the 12, 14 and 1500 compacts. If you find the gray some where else, post the color and where you bought it.

Now I HAVE to get political. There's a fine example of what's wrong with the world today. In the years following the merger, Massey Ferguson used paint colors like Rouge Red, Flint Grey Metallic, Silver Mist....

Now it's Corporate wheel grey.

They just keep putting more AGCO print on everything. They don't seem to understand where their bread and butter comes from.
