JD 4310 ehydro
Search is finally over. Bought the 4310 ehydro today. I want to thank this site and it's members for all the help and information they have extended to all of us new lookers. You made me look like I knew what I was doing. Specs out as: JD 4310 ehydro, 4wd, mid pto with rear svc, 60" 7iron mmm, 430 fel with 61" HD bucket, R-4 tires. Has all of the rest of the goodies that come standard. Cost:$20,800. Will be adding Imatch, 72" frontier blade, spreader. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif Will be ready May 19, the tractor is here but have to bring in the mmm and 430.

Congratulations. I have a bit of envy here, but will handle it. Used my 4300 a lot today getting the final firewood logs and such out of the woods, and burning up the tops.

As I look at that price, you have some extras thrown in that I wouldn't have expected. Namely the MMM and the 3rd SCV. I think you were treated well, IMO.

You will like the I-match and if you move many rocks, brush, pallets, etc., then I would highly recommend the forks. They are a muscle saver, IMO. Keeping that burn pile going today really made me appreciate those forks.

Here (attached) is an 8' white oak log (24" diam on small end) that I pulled up the hill out of the woods today. Could lift the butt end just off the ground, and the forks on the FEL were enough weight to keep the front end down. For awhile, I didn't think this one was going to come out. Not until I grabbed ahold of the butt end, did we have enough traction to make it up the woods slope to the log pile.

Again, enjoy the new 'green' partner. (Wish I had the 3rd scv so I could get a hyd. toplink). /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
