Yan Mar Zennoh 1610D
Garaged, but still about 20 degrees inside. Tough to start, but got it going. This tractor was fully reconditioned and with a new bucket. Problem is that after running an hour, I have no hydraulics. No lift, no gears - nada. I got a little funny jerk in the hose lines the 1st time I tried the bucket, then absoloutely nothing. I thought maybe I was getting a plugged filter earlier in the fall due to slow moving bucket - maybe that is the root of the cold weather problem?

It sounds to me like you may have frozen water in your hydraulic system or a badly clogged hydraulic pickup screen. Drain your oil, clean your screen, and try it then. It is common for new loaders to clog up screens. Many use a lube during assembly of the cylinders that is not compatible with the oil in the transmission. It gels up and will glob onto the screen.

Also check to be sure your thermostart (glow plug) is working properly - that may be the cause of the hard starting issues.
