CNHI Ultraction fluid compatibility with Nexplore

The question of Ultraction fluid compatibility with Nexplore arose when I had to top-off the transmission fluid in a 2017 Farmall.
I called several dealers and received conflicting information so I contacted Viscosity Oil Company who supplies both fluids to CNHI.
Viscosity Oil Company has a technical support team and they responded quickly.

Case IH Akcela Hy-Tran Ultraction replaces Nexplore. Confusion regarding compatibility arises from Viscosity Oil's advice to dealers against mixing these fluids in bulk storage where the provenance of the fluid could become difficult to determine in the event of a recall or other liability matters. Case IH Akcela Hy-Tran Ultraction is fully compatible with Nexplore applications when mixed in the sump.​

That came to me straight from Viscosity Oil Company.

Absolutely correct. The same commentary would apply to New Holland labeled MasterTran Ultraction and Multi G 134.
