if you depress clutch while bush hog is running a loud clanking noise comes from rear of engine . this only happens if pto is engaged .noise seems to be from clutch area . thanks
That is the internal PTO ‘OVER RUN’ clutch… Kubota refers to it as One-Way Clutch. It should be more of a ratcheting sound. There are past posts about this and someone has posted about a ‘fix’ Kubota has to allow adding more hydro fluid, it’s an extension to the filler as I recall, more fluid in the case tends to muffle the sound… In any case it is not a problem and is normal on tractors that are not ‘Independent Type PTO’… KennyV.
