After much deliberation I'm pretty close to purchasing a new NX5510 HC. It would be used for general farm chores around a small operation, moving snow, running some 3 point attachments like a 6' tiller, moving some dirt, bales, cleaning stalls, ect. I looked at the RX6620 as well and did like the more robust size and larger cab but the price tag and lack of hydro have kind of settled me back into the NX5510. Not to mention, I think the price being offered is VERY reasonable.

Any 5510 owners here who have first hand input on the machine or maybe wish they'd have gone a different direction?

Welcome to the forum! There are at least three members that I know of, and likely more, that have the NX5510HST, so hopefully they'll see your post and jump in. I'm assuming that by HC you mean HST Cab, right?. Also, in the search bar within TBN, search for NX5510 and you'll pull up some threads.

Good luck on the new machine, I think you will be really happy with it. I bet the price is very reasonable, especially if you looked at most any other brands.

Yes, hydrostatic with cab. I wasn't exactly sure if I wanted hydro since I've got more time on traditional geared tractors and thought the power shuttle might be nice but, I think that for precise, close-quarters work and working around livestock, the hydrostatic machine might be a safer bet. I just need to get used to the feel a bit more.

Another thought. The NX5510HST Cab and NX6010HST Cab are virtually the same tractor, even down to the engine, except for the 5 hp difference that is due to the way the fuel delivery is programmed. There are a number of happy NX6010HST Cab owners on here, so I'd research the threads on that tractor as well. Including EricTheOracle's epic thread "My NX6010". From what I've seen, the owners are pleased with performance so far.

BTW, you'll never regret going with HST for close-quarters work around livestock. Especially if much of it will be with the loader.

I priced a 6010 thinking that since it was basically the same tractor with a different computer, that the cost difference wouldn't be that significant. I was wrong, the upgrade to the 6010 was something like $3,000-$4,000, not worth it IMO for the same machine with a few more ponies.

A HST cannot be beaten for doing precision loader work. HSTs work good for lawn mowers too.
