I'm planting 100 arborvitae and fruit trees around our property but first needed to clear the areas of nearly impenetrable vines ( including poison ivy) and ground cover that has been growing for decades. Dragging the FEL bucket did nothing so decided to try the backhoe. Extending the boom, dipper, and bucket all the way ( teeth resting on ground now) followed by pulling both levers back simultaneously perfectly scrapes and rips out the vines and leaves the soil behind. In 30 minutes I had a pile of vines as big as my tractor and a big area of clean soil ready for planting.

Nice job!!

Careful if you burn that poison ivy.
