has anyone seen this or own one yet. this one is made by aiken trailer. similar to one of those sno pusher parking lot plows. looks pretty heavy duty, i may get one for this winter for my 790, instead of the jd dozer blade or a rear blade.

i asked them for a qoute on a 6ft and 5ft w/ shipping to my address. that was sat, once i get a reply i'll pass it on. looks like it may also be a good manure pusher for the barn.jim

While I like the idea, I wonder if the blade height is large enough for our snow falls. It is not unusual to have a snow storm dump in excess of a foot of snow. That blade does not look tall enough to handle a fall like that.

We typically have over 100" of snow per winter. It sure would be nice to pop the blade off in order to push the piles back.

that was my concern also, but they say it can be extended, not sure how high though.

I'm sure interested too. I'd been thinking about fabricating something like that using an ATV blade, but I'd sure rather buy one.

Anybody close enough to go check them out? It looks like they are near Ashtabula, OH, but in Pennsylvania. Being in that area, they should certainly know about moving snow.

got a reply on the cost for a 6ft and 5ft. the 5ft is $825 and 6ft is $950. you can also get a 6in extension moldboard for $85. it weighs in at 300lbs. freight to my zip was about $176. still thinking about it, i was going to price out the jd dozer blade and see from there.

That is a little pricey!

I have an old Snow Bear electric snow plow that I am thinking about mounting in my FEL. Angle is changed manually and it is 7' with mushrooms under it (I have never used them). The wench used to raise and lower it will not get mounted - no need. The extra weight for the loader looks to be about 150# max. Looks like only a couple of bolts through the bucket will do it.

Total cost, nothing. Just using something that was not used anymore.
