Tractor
Kioti ck3510se HC Kioti sb2064 snowblower, 6' King Kutter brush mower, 6' box blade, tiller
I'm finishing up a purchase of my first tractor and had a question about the pto. The ck3510se HC that I'm getting has the earlier live pto versus the newer independent pto. Anything special I need to know or pay attention to with a live pto. Thanks

live pto, i am assuming you have a clutch on the left floor? if so, and i am assuming you have hydrostatic transmission as well, that clutch's main purpose is engaging the pto. you just need to clutch in, flip the pto lever, and feather the clutch out... all at idle rpms. nothing fancy too it, just make sure your clutch is all the way in. i had an 04 lk3054xs with shuttle transmission with a two stage clutch and if i wasnt far enough into the clutch it would be a rough engagement haha. i have the new independent pto setup and i just ran my wood chipper for 2 hours yesterday without a hiccup.

Jrskblx125 you are correct in that the tractor has the left clutch pedal and also hydrostatic. Thanks for the heads up, I would have preferred the independent pto but I just couldn't pass up the deal I found on this tractor with the attachments so I figured I could live with the live pto. Even the snowblower still looks brand new and the idea of blowing snow in the comfort of the cab in -30 below weather was a no brainer.
