I'm in the SE. I was just quoted a new CK35 HST 4x4 w/"free" loader w/QA for $16.5k delivered, cash price. The guy didn't seem too interested in a trade in which is fine. Any thoughts on this?

BTW-Can I run a 6' rough cut mower on this? I feel like it is borderlined.

And a DK35 Shuttle was about $2k more. I really am trying to keep the price down but like the extra #300 loader capacity.

The cash price seems pretty good and the CK35hst can handle the 6ft mower. Just a few points; the CK35hst is 34hp, hydro drive, about 500 pounds lighter and less fel strength. The DK35 is 38hp, gear, heavier, stronger fel, and overall built a little heavier. Money spent is always a factor. I guess think of your jobs/future needs and what would work best.

Thanks for the feedback. While I want power I also want to be careful of weight as I want to be able to mow 10ac without tearing it up around the house. I am really pushing towards HST and am bummed that the dk isn't.

You are aware the CK35HST weighs more than 3100 lbs, right? I was looking hard at the CK30HST for use largely to mow 3 acres of turf grass, until I saw how much it weighed. Instead, I went with a 2100 lb Cub Cadet Yanmar SX3100, and it has no problem operating a heavy Woods 72" finish mower. Even with unweighted R4 tires, I still see faint tracks in the grass if the lawn is anything less than bone dry. The CK35HST sounds like a great tractor, but it'd be almost like driving a light truck across the lawn. Be careful with the weight and choice of tires if you're purchasing a tractor mainly for finish mowing...

I have a ck20 with a finish mower, a gravely zero turn mower and also a cub cadet lawn tractor. For mowing the pasture the finish mower is the best but around the buildings, trees, sheds, etc. either of the other two mowers are far better at getting close, and being able to see what you are doing.
Now for the tractor, mine is a gear and for mowing and FEL work I wish I had a hydro.
If it were me, I would buy the smaller tractor with the hydro and with the two thousand dollars remaining buy a good used lawn tractor for mowing around the house.
By the way, I run a 5' bush hog with my tractor and it does just fine. I can mow waist high weeds, but only in low range, 2nd gear.

yah i got a 42" rider a 21" push and a L2550 which I may just keep as a mower. When I say "lawn" i mean the 5 ac right around the house which I used to mow with an old Ford 4000.

Any Bobcat owners trolling around on here? I'm curious to hear 235 or 335 prices as well. Thanks

Where are you located? Sometimes prices can be pretty regional.

I am in Spokane, WA, and I was quoted last week $15995 for a CK30 gear, and $17995 for a DK35 gear, both with FEL, cash, delivered. With a hat and an oil filter. So your CK35 HST price seems better than mine, but my DK price is better than yours. :confused2:

I'm in Southeast US. DK quoted to me was shuttle, for $500 more than your gear. You would think that west coast would be cheaper due to proximity to S. Korea...
